Under the SNZ Constitution, two Board members are retiring by rotation; one appointed (Geoff Brown) and one elected (Margaret McKee). Under Rule 11.4, The Board must appoint a Swimming New Zealand Appointments Panel (SNZAP).

The successful candidates shall join the two appointed persons along with the Chair of SNZ, bringing it up to a full complement of 5 members. The 5 member SNZAP will then continue with the process of appointing and electing the remaining Board members.

Board Applications and Election
Applications are now invited for one appointed and one elected position on the Swimming New Zealand Board for three year terms.
The Swimming New Zealand Appointments Panel (SNZAP) will look to combine a strong collective skill-set on the board including governance experience, strategic ability, commercial experience, business skills and relationship management. The board will comprise a good mix of independence and connection to the sport.
